Some promising numbers came out in January regarding rising
new car inventories.
Total U.S. supply of unsold new vehicles was at 1.80 million
units at the end of December 2022. This was 715,000 units higher
than at the end of December 2021.

supply chain happened and why it is taking so long to
correct.
